Great combination of service, value and comfort. Old Works Golf Course is just 5 minutes away as well. Pizza and burgers at the Classic Diner was also great. For a more robust breakfast, consider Doniven's Family Diner about 5 minutes south, also on Park St. Continental breakfast was a bit of joke with just donuts and cold cereal but the coffee was hot and fresh every morning. ![]() Wireless internet was exceptionally fast with great reception through the entire motel. Was a bit discouraged that there was no hot tub, but with Fairmont Hot Springs just a few minutes away, it really wasn't an issue. Linens were clean, and housekeeping staff was attentive. Beds were a bit on the firm side but still comfortable. Showers were great with plenty of hot water. A mini-fridge in the room was a nice bonus for dinner's leftovers. The location is very convenient with a beautiful park just across the street. It took three calls to the office stating we had just travelled ten hours and needed to rest up for a long drive the next day before it was stopped. STOMP, STOMP, STOMP>one way,<<<< ![]() Contact info: Find more info on AllPeople about Robert E. We would have been ok just for a rest over staying on our way east, but after a ten hour drive the Owners of the motel had their relatives, I am assuming grandkids, in the room adjacent to us. There are 47 other people named Robert E. The room was very clean, I will give it that, but the beds/pillows were hard and uncomfortable. The place is very old and needs to be updated.
